Hilton Waikoloa Village

The view from our balcony at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

My friends and I try to do a trip together (whether big or small) every year or at least every other year. It gets hard to coordinate because we all live in different states, but we somehow always manage to work it out. They’re like my long-term boyfriends (except better)!

Over the past few years we’ve done Palm Springs, NYC, Chicago, Kauai, and this most recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. Next year, we plan to visit New Zealand (eek!). We haven’t even begun to plan that trip yet, but if anyone has suggestions of what to see/do/eat in New Zealand (either island), I’d love to hear it.

Alright, enough blabbing. I’ve still yet to go through all my Big Island photos, but I’ll first share a peek at our stay at the gorgeous Hilton Waikoloa Village. One of my friends got an insane package deal, and asked if we would like to come along and take advantage of it. So the moral of the story here is if your friend offers to treat you to a hotel stay on a trip, you say yes. Every time. And you also owe that friend for life (THANK YOU!).

One of the neatest parts of the resort was the endless amount of art around every corner. It was an art lover’s dreamland. I wish I had taken more photos, but these don’t really do the art justice anyways!

As much as we enjoyed the stay at our hotel, we of course had to get out and do some exploring. More on that later!

Looks extremly enjoyable! I reviewed several Hilton hotels for my blog in the last years, but there were not many as amazing as this one! Thanks a lot for your review 🙂
